For the first time in months, the Minister of Health is reporting over 300 new COVID-19 cases in Ontario today.
Minister Christine Elliott announced the news at just after 10:15 a.m. on Monday morning.
The regions with the most cases are Toronto with 112, Peel with 71, and Ottawa with 60.
All other public health units have less than ten new cases, and fifteen units have no new cases at all, says Minister Elliott.
She also says that 67% of today’s new cases are among people under the age of forty.
It is the first time since early June that the province has seen a daily increase of over 300, reports CityNews.
